Hiking Ontario
I love hiking and so does my flat-coat retriever, Louie. Together, we have been exploring many of Ontario’s beautiful hiking trails. We wanted to share with you some of our favourite trails, tips to help you get the most out of your trips, and a few things you should bring with you to enjoy your time outdoors. Happy trails!
Exploring Belfountain Conservation Area
If waterfalls, boardwalks, tree-lined trails, and a water fountain are on your list of things to see and experience, then Belfountain Conservation Area is definitely a place you should check out.
Rattray Marsh Conservation Area
Rattray Marsh Conservation Area features a rare natural cobble beach on 90 acres of the Lake Ontario Shoreline. This gem is located within Jack Darling Memorial Park in Mississauga, Ontario. One of the distinguishing features of the Rattray Marsh is the last remaining lakefront marsh between Toronto and Burlington.
