My Everyday Morning Hike

I live near the an entry point to the Etobicoke Creek Trail, a mostly paved path that stretches from Caledon to the southern tip of Mississauga. For the past year, I have spent most mornings doing a 2 kilometre walk along the trail listening to birds sing as I complete my stroll. The walk is very peaceful and mornings are definitely my favourite part of the day.

More recently, I have been investigating other parts of the trail. On weekends, my best friend, Henry, and I take a drive to other entry points of the trail to take our walks and explore places we have never been before. Our goal is the travel the entire trail together. We’re tracking our walks and we’re slowly making a dent in this long trail.

What is your favourite place to hike or walk? Let us know. We are always up for exploring new places together.
