I Love Silver Creek Conservation Area

Silver Creek Conservation Area.jpg

What a day! I got to go to Silver Creek Conservation Area today. It was a lot of fun. We did the Irwin Quarry and Robert Side Trail, a 3.6 kilometre long loop that takes you through wooded areas and rocky terrain. There is a lot of climbing up and down rocks and a lot of awesome new smells to take in. I would not classify this as an easy trail to hike. The elevation changes and walking on rocks make it challenging, especially for people or dogs with mobility issues. Make sure to watch the ground to avoid tripping hazards and take your time when climbing up and down from rocks.

It took me about an hour to complete the loop. I took a few water breaks along the way to ensure I was well hydrated.

I cannot wait to go back and hike other trails as Silver Creek Conservation Area.
